Karen Holmes has worked in many different fields, including teaching, PR, writing fiction and helping run a beach resort on an otherwise uninhabited desert island in the South China Sea. For the past 20 years she has been a freelance writer and editor, specialising in education and training. She has authored eight career titles including Careers Uncovered: Design, Careers Uncovered: Teaching, Real Life Guides: Creative Industries and What Employers Want for Trotman.
