Born in New York in 1957, Fabio studied at Cornell University and graduated with a Masters degree in natural resources policy and planning. Ever interested in conservation and humanitarian projects, he founded the Europe Conservation, a European non-profit organisation that specialises in providing volunteers to small conservation projects in developing countries.
Author of the best-selling Green Volunteers, the World Guide to Voluntary Work in Nature Conservation, he is also active in the humanitarian field and among the founders of the First Italian Ethical Bank.
